| Function: |
Build, develop, manage and/or support an executive search practice within one or more specific industry verticals or functional specialties. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Developing business relationships as well as selling retained executive search services to potential corporate clients.
- Management of candidate identification/ development process.
- Support of the firm’s practice and functional leadership group in developing and executing strategies for specific target sectors and/or companies.
- Participation in activities related to branding and marketing the firm and its services.
- Enhancing and promoting the firm’s reputation as the premier, global mid-sized Executive Leadership Solutions firm.

| Requirements: |
The successful candidate should have, at a minimum, the following qualifications:
- 1-5 years of executive search experience, with at least one year of experience delivering an annual book of business greater than $500,000; or, 10+ years of business experience and a sales and/or consulting background.
- A track record of growing and maintaining business relationships with existing clients (as evidenced by level of repeat business).
- Executive-level contacts within a specific industry or functional specialty.
- Successful track record in directing projects and project-based teams as part of a professional services organization.
- Management experience leading and directing a highly-professional team of individual thinkers, outstanding interpersonal skills and the proven ability to foster a positive team-oriented working environment.
- Must be self confident, aggressive, open, honest, organized, creative and willing to rapidly create and execute new strategies and initiatives.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a rapidly-growing entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
- Ability to relate and work closely with all levels of staff, senior management, and fellow partners.
- Strategic hands-on management style and excellent attention to detail.
- Team player and leader with a high level of energy, sensitivity and charisma.

He/she must be interested in helping build one or more search practices within the firm, as well as setting and shaping strategy and execution. The ideal candidate should be visionary and decisive and demonstrate a broad perspective. In addition, he/she should be highly confident, persuasive and perceptive. The successful candidate should be self-motivated with great perseverance in completing projects and tasks. Both personal and organizational goal fulfillment must be high. |
