David Roufs is a research associate in the Minneapolis office of Nosal Partners LLC.
Prior to joining Nosal Partners, Mr. Roufs held positions in records management and compliance at Deloitte & Touche LLP. He began his career in the personal trust industry.
Mr. Roufs pursued graduate studies in modern European history in Chicago; his Master’s thesis examined French social and political responses to Mussolini and Fascist Italy between the world wars. He also completed a tenure of study at Oxford University.
Mr. Roufs’ interests include history, languages, literature and writing. He has traveled extensively throughout Latin America and Europe. Mr. Roufs also has a strong passion for culinary knowledge and techniques, as well as the physiological effects of nutrition and food consumption. He considers bread-making to be one of the most valuable and enjoyable skills one can acquire.
In partnership with a lifelong friend, Mr. Roufs is currently producing and co-writing an independent film in which he also plays a role.
